Does the property have to be on Tribal land?
It depends on what state the property is in. The property does not have to be on tribal land in Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and California and a few others; whereas, the property must be on tribal land in states like Texas and Louisiana. Please give us a call or email if you are uncertain whether your state qualifies or if your property location qualifies.

What documentation is necessary to qualify for Section 184 loan?
You must have a tribal member card to apply for section 184 loan. A CDIB card or proof of blood percentage alone will not work. You can; however, obtain a member card from your tribe usually with either of those two. You can contact your tribe directly to inquire about the process of obtaining a member card.

If my children are Native American can we qualify for this loan?
At least one of the borrowers on the loan must be Native American tribal member and all applicants must be over the age of 18.

Are there any income limitations on this loan?
There are no maximum or minimum limits on borrowers' income.
